The RAW family grows stronger each year. Whether this is your first reunion or your third, whether you are a longtime supporter or just joining us now, you are part of something that heals, honors, and holds brothers and sisters accountable to each other.
The reason our reunions work is simple: veterans need veterans. We have seen what happens when combat brothers reconnect—the barriers come down, the memories are honored, and the brotherhood is restored. This work is essential. This work saves lives.

Born from a Mother's Love and a Son's Sacrifice
In June 2016, Mary Henry organized a reunion for 23 of her son Eric's fellow soldiers — men who survived three combat deployments together, including the 2009 Battle of COP Keating where eight of their brothers were killed in action.
What began as one mother's act of love became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2017. Today, RAW facilitates 5+ fully funded reunions per year — covering every cost so no veteran is left behind.Read the full story →
How We Bring Veterans Home to Each Other
Every reunion is fully funded — travel, lodging, meals, and programming — at no cost to the veteran.
Combat units — especially those who experienced loss in theater — are nominated by veterans, family, or VSO partners. Priority goes to units with KIA.
Our all-volunteer team coordinates flights, lodging, meals, and programming. Average cost: $1,500 per veteran. Entirely covered by donor support.
Brothers and sisters reunite — often for the first time in years. Healing begins. Bonds are rebuilt. The fallen are honored together.

Combat bonding creates one of the most powerful forms of human connection — and its loss is a leading driver of veteran isolation and PTSD.
